Water Rescue with Station 53

On April 16th, Leipsic & Little Creek Fire Companies were alerted to the Simons River near the Humpback Bridge, south of Leipsic, for a report of a boat taking on water.  54-0 with a crew of four pulling 54-Marine-2 (the inland bay flat bottom boat) responded.  Another crew of four also responded in Van 54-10 but was canceled upon arrival.  Leipsic Command turned the scene over to Delaware Department of Natural Resources Fish& Wildlife Enforcement division for investigation.
