Fire Prevention is complete.  This year we delivered our program to 2290 kids over 15 days. This is no small feat to provide a program to multiple age/grades children at different schools in the Dover area and keep the engine available for emergencies.

On Oct 9th the Crew of 54-4 under the command of Asst Arrington, visited Town Pointe Ele School.

Asst. Chief Arrington has a full calander of visits to schools, and visits to the station.

We'll be out in schools assisting Dover Fire talking to the children about fire safety, along with smoke detectors, having an escape plan, meeting place, using candles, electrical safety, calling 911 and lastly interacting with the firefighters in full gear.

Now is the time to make sure your smoke and carbon nonoxide detectors have fresh batteries, aren't out of date, and are tested.  If you need a replacement or don't have one, by all means stop in to get one or more. Or contact us via the webpage to schedule a time for a member to be at the firehouse.
