Little Creek assists DAFB

The DAFB Fire & Emergency Services responded to base housing adjacent to the St Jones River, for a report of hearing someone calling from help.  After a brief search, crews made contact with the subject. Shallow water and a receding tide made efforts difficult with the small boats inching their way to victim. The victim was safely removed from the mud through a combined effort. Station 54 also covered Station 58's district during the incident. Units on scene:

Station 54 -- Brush Truck, Rescue Boat
