About Us

Welcome to Little Creek Volunteer Fire Company. We provide fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to the residence of the town of Little Creek as well as the citizens and visitors of Kent County. Our primary response area covers from the eastern City Limits of Dover, along White Oak Road to Kitts Hummock to include approximately 58 square miles of the Delaware Bay.

Our department consists of 3 engines with a combined tank capacity of 3750 gallons of water, a 100 ft ladder, a brush truck, a 3000 gallon tanker, a Haz-Mat unit with decontamination trailer, a 27 ft Rescue/Fire Boat, a 22 ft Rescue boat, a 18 ft Rescue boat, 2 utility vehicles, and a command vehicle.  We have constructed our own training facility for firefighters with hose handling, search and rescue, ventilation and ladder operations for our ground ladders and our ladder truck.

Our average manpower to calls is 16 people. Our firefighters spend on average 120 hours in monthly training. We are proud of our fire prevention and education program, through which we have been able to touch the lives of many children and their families.
