Water Rescue Assistance In Wilmington

Station 54 along with other companies with small boats where called to assisst the City of Wilmington with water rescues in the area of E 12th St and Northeast Blvd, were the Brandywine Creek overflowed it's banks 

 

as a result of Hurricane Ida.  Members worked with City Of Wimington Fire, St Francis EMS, New Castle County companies with  small boat, National Guard, and other Kent County companies with small boats that were called on to assist.

Other members stood by to the district will the team was out.

Utility 54-9 and 54-Marine 2 responded.
