Large fishing vessel fire response in New Jersey

Leesburg Fire department Cumberland County was dispatched for a vessel fire at the Dorchester Ship yard. Multiple agencies from Cumberland and Cape May counties responded. The vessel was actually in dry dock and well envolved when emergency crews arrived.
The ship yard is approximately seven mile from the mouth of the Maurice River.
54 Marine 1 was requested to assist late in the incident with a travel time across the Delaware River ranging between 45 minutes to an hour depending on the conditions. 54 Marine 1 launched with a crew of 5 and 54 Maine 3 also responded with a crew of four, after being towed from the station and launched at the Little River boat ramp.

Even after the both Little Creek's vessel arrived there was still smoke showing.
