Candlelight Vigil for Fire victims and survivors
Friday, February 11, 2022

The family held a candlelight vigil for the victims of the deadly house fire that occurred on the 6th.  The event was coordinated with Deldot to close part of Main St near the scene of the fire, for the community to gather safely on the sidewalks and street.  Approximately twenty active and inactive members showed to show the fire companies support to the victims family and the community during this time of deep sadness.

Several members placed tokens of sympathy at the porch for the victims.

After the minister from the Little Creek Methodist/Roby Charge Church prayed with the family in front of the house where the victims were removed from the fire, some of the family members got to meet and share their appreciation to a few of the members that made rescues of the family members that were trapped inside.

Rev Walton from the DVFA and Station 45 was on hand to the men and women that affected rescues and assisted in life saving efforts.
