At 14:24 hours on Sunday 6/11/23, Station 54 ,Ambulance 53 Rescue Co. 53, Kent County Department of Public Safety medics, Delaware State Police Aviation Section Trooper 4 and Ambulance 55  was alerted for a MVC High Velocity, in the area of Bayside Dr. and Postles Corner Rd. 54 units arrived to find 2 vehicles involved in a head-on MVC in the roadway. 1 occupant was confirmed to be trapped. Quint 58 was started to assist. Crews worked to extricate the occupant. The occupant was flown via Trooper 4 to an area trauma center. Another occupant was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Bayside Dr. was closed for a short time while crews operated.
